The trailer for the upcoming film "Hot Pursuit" has just been released, and fans are ecstatic over the pairing of Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara.

The new movie features Vergara as an insanely wealthy witness and Witherspoon as a cop charged with Vergara's rescue.

The two play the odd couple throughout the movie, and their difference set up scenes to be full of laughs and jokes. "Look at you, you're teeny tiny- you're like a little dog I can put in my purse!" Vergara says to Witherspoon in the newly released trailer for "Hot Pursuit."

Many of the jokes focus on the odd pairing working together and Reese's height and Vergara's age both seem to come up often in the trailer.

The premise of the movie has Sofia Vergara's character witness to a drug dealer's cartel workings, and all his other cohorts have been murdered except for her.

She is obviously in immediate danger and enters Reese Witherspoon's character whose sole responsibility is the safe delivery of Vergara to Dallas where she will give testimony in the trial against the drug lord.

They run into several obstacles along the way, one of which is they seem to not like each other much in beginning, "You don't have to like me, but I'm the best chance you have at surviving," Witherspoon tells Vergara in the trailer of "Hot Pursuit."

The movie trailer shows the comic hijinks the ladies endure and the duo seems well cast for the roles. Both are known for their comedic timing and ability. Neither actress is a stranger to success and big performances. Reese had a big year in 2014 with the release of "Wild."

She was nominated for an Academy Awards, SAG, and Golden Globe for the role. Sofia, while playing in the hit "Modern Family," has an impressive four Emmy Awards for the role of Gloria Pritchett.

This will be the first big-budget film for Vergara, but from the newly released trailer, she seems to have nothing to worry about.
