'Hitman: Agent 47' New Trailer News: Rupert Friend Stars in Upcoming Video Game Based Film

Fox has released the first trailer for its upcoming movie "Hitman Agent 47' almost six months before its release date scheduled for August 28, 2015.

The movie, which is an adaptation of a popular video game and serves a sequel to the 2007 movie "Hitman,' has Rupert Friend playing the lead role of a genetically engineered assassin. The movie is directed by Aleksander Bach. It also stars Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Thomas Kretschmann and Ciaran Hinds.

The trailer begins with Agent 47 in an interrogation room being questioned by an official. After a few questions, the trailer shows a glimpse of the woman that's his intended target, 47 says they should really let him go. "The last time I checked. You're the one locked in here with me and I have the gun," the interrogator says. To which agent 47 retorts, "No, Mr. Sanders. You're locked in here with me, and you just brought me mine."

Along with this trailer, Fox also released a satirical video in which the assassin prevents YouTube stars and fans from leaking the film's official trailer by killing them in a variety of ways.

Talking about the movie's trailer, Quinto said, "We saw bits and pieces in Berlin and Singapore when we were shooting it, but to actually see it put together like that is epic."

And adding on his character, he said, "The character is more complicated than the name," according to the Daily Mail.
