Titan Publishing has just announced that they will be launching a new comic book titled "Heroes Reborn." The publishing company stated that it has acquired the right to publish the comics, which is based on NBC's TV-series 'Heroes Reborn,' which was restructured from 'Heroes.'

Christian Today reports that the company made this announcement via its Tumblr page on June 10. The announcement said that the company acquired the license from Universal Partnerships and the licensing will commence with a five-story arc featuring a new main characters for the series. However, neither NBC nor Titan Publishing has confirmed the development of future issues.

It is worth mentioning here that the new comic book will not be about the upcoming episodes of the TV series. Instead, the book will feature stories complementing the series; for instance delving further into the character backstories as well as their origins.

Titan Comics Publishing Director Chris Teather announced via Tumblr, "Our new Heroes series is being created in close collaboration with the team behind the NBC show," adding, "These aren't just comics; they're bonus episodes!"

Zach Craley and Seamus Fahey, the supervising producers of the NBC TV series, will write the plot for the comics, while Rubine is entrusted with the illustrations. In fact, this is the second time Fahey will be writing a comic book adaptation anchored in a TV series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, earlier, Fahey has written "Batterstar Galatica."

The comic book, alongside the TV show, is set to be released in Oct. 2015.

While all the cast members of the former 'Heroes' TV series will return in 'Heroes Reborn.' Nevertheless, Jack Coleman who portrays Noah Bennet, Masi Oka for Hiro Nakamura and Jimmy Jean-Louis who portrays the Haitian will be part of the upcoming 'Heroes Reborn.' In addition, Sendhil Ramamurthy, who plays Mohinder, and Cristine Rose, who portrays the character of Angela Petrelli, will also be returning for 'Heroes Reborn.'
