'Heroes Reborn' New Cast News: Sendhil Ramamurthy Confirmed to Reprise Role as Mohinder Suresh
The 'Heroes Reborn' series has recently picked up another cast member to reprise their role from the original show.
Sendhil Ramamurthy has been confirmed to be back in his role as Mohinder Suresh, the geneticist/taxi driver who imbued himself with super strength.
Ramamurthy is currently the latest from the original cast to be announced back for the show.
"The other Heroes originals on board for the 13-episode revival are Jack Coleman (as Noah "HRG" Bennet), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian) and Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), while Zachary Levi (Chuck), Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black), Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time) and Ryan Guzman (Pretty Little Liars) are among the "new" crowd," writes TV Line.
The new series has been said to follows a "seemingly ordinary group of people who gradually become aware that they have special abilities." According to the plot description, the story develops "showing their reactions to these powers, and how this discovery affects their personal and professional lives."
Since wrapping up his role in 2010, Ramamurthy has been featured in a number of television shows, and is currently prepping to appear in Stan Lee's superhero drama, 'Lucky Man.'
"Since wrapping his run as Mohinder, Ramamurthy has appeared as a series regular on both Covert Affairs and Beauty and the Beast. He also just boarded the Sky1/Stan Lee superhero drama Lucky Man, playing Governor Julian of Brixton Hill Prison," writes TV Line.
'Heroes Reborn' is set to appear back on NBC in the fall.
