‘Heroes Reborn’ Game News: Interactive Entertainment Announces Two New Games [VIDEO]

While it has already been announced that 'Heroes Reborn' will be coming to NBC as a 13-episode mini-series this fall, now Imperative Entertainment has announced two 'Heroes Reborn' games - 'Heroes Reborn: Gemini and 'Heroes Reborn: Enigma' to hype up the television show. In fact, both the upcoming games will serve as prequels to the television show and their overarching storyline will be overseen by Tim Kring, the creator of 'Heroes.'

According to a report in IB Times, the two 'Heroes Reborn' games will offer different experiences and will come with some minor dissimilarity like a "Pokemon" title. According to Comic Book Resources, 'Heroes Reborn: Gemini' will be for consoles and the PC, while 'Heroes Reborn: Enigma' will be for mobile devices. Both the upcoming games will be first-person action games requiring players to master the powers of the heroes to fight enemies and solve puzzles.

In 'Heroes Reborn: Gemini,' players will be required control a 20-year-old woman named Cassandra, who possesses the ability to time-travel and use telekinesis. Cassandra can use both powers offensively as well as to solve puzzles. IGN reported that Cassandra is also able to pick up an object with telekinesis, go back in time, and subsequently use the object to attack an unsuspecting opponent.

On the other hand, 'Heroes Reborn: Enigma' will require players controlling Cassandra's 14-year-old sister Dahlia, who will flee from a government facility called the Quarry. While not much detail has been revealed regarding her powers, it is also not clear as to how the character escapes. According to reports, Dahlia will be making a cameo appearance in the 'Heroes Reborn' miniseries, showing fans how the game influences the show and vice versa, which is expected to result in a smooth and cohesive watching and gaming experience.

The games have been developed by Phospor, which early worked on the critically acclaimed game 'Horn,' while Kring's Imperative Entertainment will publish them.
