Henry Cavill News: Actor Talks Workouts and Career in Men's Health U.K.

Actor Henry Cavill definitely has a lot on his plate, but not food of course since he is on a strict diet for his action films like 'Superman', and his new film 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' and just in time to promote the film, Cavill posed for the cover of Men's Health U.K., and talked about health, fitness and his career.

Cavill is indeed in great shape and the actor just revealed how well he prepares for his films including maintaining a certain body weight to have an easy transition from one film to another. "We knew Batman v Superman was happening immediately afterwards, so we were prepping for that at the same time: doing enough heavy stuff that I was ready to make the switch without putting on muscle," Cavill shared with the magazine.

"Plus we had to keep me at a certain weight and make sure I didn't blow up and get fat - which is easy to do when you're under stress and you want to have a drink at the weekend," he added.

Despite the hard work that he has to put in to achieve his body for certain films, the Batman v Superman star also however reveals that he nonetheless enjoy every bit of work out and training. "There is that aspect of, 'Oh God, I know how much it hurts.' But I don't mind that so much, "he said adding, "I like hard work. I really, really like it, because it makes me feel like I've achieved something for the day. It was great to go and train this morning....Doing the right thing releases the right chemicals."

But in all these, Cavill makes sure that his craft is well since he takes pride in his work, career wise. "It's pride. I have pride in my work," Cavill reveals adding, "When I'm old, I'm not going to go, 'I'm so glad I cheated myself my entire life, so glad I got away with it.' I want to die and, in those moments, realize that I still have integrity, and that every time I told my kids and grandkids to work hard, I believed it myself. That's what really matters."

Cavill's latest flick, 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' is set to premiere in the big screens this August 14, 2015.
