'Batman v Superman' Cast News: Actor Henry Cavill Says Movie will Make 'Cinematic History'

Actor Henry Cavill expressed his confidence in his upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" film, along with the director for it, Zack Snyder.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail he proudly exclaims the film will make "cinematic history."

"It's Zack Snyder, so it's going to be a visual spectacle and it's cinematic history. We're doing Batman and we're doing Superman, and it's all happening at the same time. So, fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is," he said to Daily Mail.

Regardless of the movie's story or premise, the movie is bound to be very successful and be an overall joy to witness. The two iconic heroes have not yet been adapted to the big screen together, so all fans alike are just as enthused and skeptical about how it will all turn out.

When asked if he had any advice on Ben Affleck suiting up for Batman, Cavill responded:

"Right. We're talking about Ben Affleck here. I don't need to give him any advice. The guy's a legend. He does his own thing! He's great. He's fantastic."

Cavill has definitely been more responsive about the movie than Affleck has. As big of a role he has, and as much controversy around his casting, it would put fans at ease if the man donning the black cape would express his thoughts.

It is in fact much easier to imagine how Cavill will look as Superman in the movie, as he's previously starred as the character in his "Man of Steel" movie. Affleck's Batman is strictly up to our speculation.

In another interview for the Anglophile Channel, Cavill spoke on his future plans with the character, and how many years he thinks he'll reprise the character.

"As many as it takes. I love the character. I love working with Warner Bros. and what they're doing with it, and so fingers crossed I'll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come."

These two actors will be the forefront for DC's cinematic universe, so it's safe to assume we'll see them in the roles for a while.
