'Hearthstone' Week 3 Blackrock Mountain Adventure News: BRM Blackrock Spire Wing Cards, Bosses, Release Date
'Hearthstone' players have gotten their first and second tastes of the new Blackrock Mountain Adventure and some of the cards it brought, but as always, they are looking for more. The good news is that, the next wing of the expansion is ready to go as Blizzard has posted the new card rewards and boss battles.
Starting off with a little bit of lore, the official post on Battle.Net about the new Blackrock Spire week 3 wing reads, "Good help is hard to find, doubly so if you're a mighty dragon with a bad temper and an insatiable lust for power. Rend Blackhand and his Dark Horde are loyal and reasonably competent henchmen, but Nefarian isn't above using the orcs as meat shields to stall intrepid adventurers while he prepares a special surprise for his 'guests'."
Stepping into some of the cards that players will be able to get their hands on, six of them have been revealed and posted below:
Beyond that, players can expect to receive two more cards by completing this wing's class challenges, which are the Priest and Druid class challenges this time around.
The one card that stands out from the rest is the Rend Blackhand Legendary card that is earned upon completion of the wing. While deck implementation with regards to value of this card has yet to be determined, it should serve to integrate into some interesting constructions.
Moving into which bosses gamers can expect to face in Blackrock Mountain Adventure: Blackrock Spire, the classics seem to have all come back.
First on the list is Highlord Omokk who's an Ogre type boss with a one Mana crystal hero power, "ME SMASH (1): Destroy[s] a random damaged enemy minion."
Next is General Drakkisath who's noticeably different from the others as he starts with 50 HP instead of the usual 30. Beyond that, his hero power is passive, it reads, "Intense Gaze (Passive): All cards cost (1). Players are capped at 1 Mana Crystal."
Last but not least, Rend Blackhand will be the final boss to face before receiving all the cards and unlocking all of the class challenges in the Blackrock Spire week 3 wing. Interestingly enough, instead of one hero power, Rend Blackhand comes with four:
- Open the Gates (2): Summon three 1/1 Whelps. Get a new Hero Power.
- Blackwing (1): Summon a 3/1 Dragonkin. Get a new Hero Power.
- Old Horde (2): Summon two 1/1 Orcs with Taunt. Get a new Hero Power.
- Dismount (4): Summon Gyth. Get a new Hero Power.
Setting all that aside, what gamers are really looking to find out now is when they'll be able to avail all this new content. While there is no definite release date scheduled, rumor has it that Thursday, April 16 is the day everyone is waiting for.
