'Hearthstone’ Update 6.1.3 Upgrade Nerfs Shaman Rockbiter Weapon
Blizzard Entertainment's "Hearthstone" has unveiled its Update 6.1.3 and as per reports, it is set to apply changes to some Basic and Classic cards for new strategies and playstyles.
The Shaman is one of the cards that will receive the said changes in Blizzard's online card game. According to the game's official blog, Shaman has been one of the top card component in most players' decks. As per the publication, Rockbiter Weapon, a Shaman card retains its synergistic potential, but is value as a removal tool has been nerfed by changing the cost of the card from one to two Mana.
As per the blog, Shaman cards, such as Totem Golem and Tunnel Trogg were also considered; however, they are set to be rotated soon. Thus, the developers thought that it would be a better plan to change Rockbiter Weapon and enhance the Standard format in a more "permanent" approach.
In a statement, as cited by the publication, Blizzard said that they had to be acutely aware of the overall power levels of the cards contained within the evergreen Basic and Classic sets, adding that since those cards did not rotate along with certain expansion or adventure sets each year for the Standard mode players, strength managing and monitoring are vital to the game's overall health.
According to Game Spot, Update 6.1.3 is set to go live prior to the "Hearthstone" Championship Tour Last Call events, which are slated in October.
Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft" was initially released for iOS, Android, Mac OS, and Microsoft Windows in 2014.
