Hawk Nelson chatted with BREATHEcast at the K-LOVE Fan Awards red carpet, where they had some fun joking around, and announced their tour with the Newsboys.

Lead singer Jonathan Steingard said, they were "pumped" to be at the event. "This is our first time playing at the K-LOVE Fan Awards, so we're really excited about that, and it's really cool to play a song that people will actually know, which is always a good thing."

And that song he mentioned, is their very successful and catchy single, "Drops in the Ocean."

As far as what is next for the band, their album Diamonds is out and they were just taking in the weekend's events. However, with a little prodding, Steingard said of what's next to come, "To come, we're going on tour with the Newsboys. We start September 17th in Las Vegas," he said before joking about Michael Tait following them on the red carpet.

Hawk Nelson's "Drops In The Ocean," hit No.1 on the Billboard Christian AC Indicator chart - the band's first time atop any Christian adult contemporary chart. In addition, the song spent four weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR chart, and is currently No.3 on the Billboard National Christian Audience chart and No.7 on the Billboard Christian AC Monitored chart.
