'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Spoilers: Steve And Danny's Bond Is Getting Stronger

After Danny William donated his liver to save Steve McGarrett's life in "Hawaii Five-0" season 6 finale, fans expect season 7 to see a stronger bond between the two.

Spoilers for the upcoming season suggest that Danny's heroic act in the season 6 finale will make him want Steve McGarrett to take good care of his health more in the upcoming season. This means that just because Steve was able to overcome the incident that almost took his life doesn't necessarily mean that Danny will allow him to do whatever he wants.

Season 7 showrunner Peter M. Lenkov revealed that Danny's donation will bring him and Steve closer next season, but their friendship will not be smooth sailing.

According to Lenkov, Steve's nature as a risk taker will be a major problem in "Hawaii Five-0" season 7, and Danny will expect him to take extra precaution this time around.

Asked about his plans for season 7, the showrunner shared with Entertainment Weekly that the next season opens with Steve coming out of the hospital.

"What you've got to remember is McGarrett's recovering, so I'm going to start the season with him coming out of the hospital, so it's going to be less than four months," he revealed.

He also added that season 7 will follow Steve as he reflects on his near-death experience in the previous season and tries to find a reason to stick to his death-defying job.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Adam will be set free next season and be reunited with his wife Kono.

"Hawaii Five-0" season 7 is expected to premiere this fall.
