The rumors have finally been confirmed! One Direction Harry Styles is indeed collaborating with rising star Meghan Trainor for a new love duet. In a recent interview by the 'All About That Bass' hit maker revealed that she is cooking something new in the studio with Styles.

"Yes, I wrote a song with Harry," Trainor told host Nick Grimshaw who is also Styles's BFF on BBC Radio. "It was unbelievable. He's a very, very talented songwriter - I was very impressed," she added. On that note, the most recent detail about the song is that it is acoustic according to Trainor as she announced to The Sun, Tuesday.

So it is definitely a song to look forward to. "It's a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukulele," Trainor told The Sun adding "It's a cute acoustic love thing."

Trainor, who is pretty much new to the music scene, having only released her full-length debut album called 'Title', she described how it was to work with someone like Styles.

"It's one of the first cool things I can do with a pop star," Trainor added to the British publication, "A friend of mine said Harry was a fan and said he would love to write with me," she continued. The 21-year-old blonde singer was also impressed of Style's composition skills.

"He's an incredible writer, too. I was worried he'd just be a 20-year-old boy. So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus," Trainor said. "But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, 'Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is," she added.

Although the title of the song and the release date are still to be announced, fans are already anxious to hear the collaboration of the two stars. The two are an interesting mix according to several and it will be great if the two collaborated to more songs in the future.
