'Harry Potter' Spinoff News: 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' Comes to Universal Hollywood in Spring 2016
The countdown to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter starts today, as Universal Studios in Hollywood has announced that the most anticipated entertainment experience in the West Coast will be arriving in Spring 2016.
"Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" will be the theme park's signature attraction, in hyper realistic 3D-HD.
This entertainment experience has been over five years in the making, inspired by JK Rowling's novels and characters, along with the Warner Brothers films.
"The Wizarding World of Harry potter" at Universal Studios Hollywood will bring guests the same realistic experience and storytelling which already exists at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Japan.
The experience is expected to attract fans of the series and the character, Harry Potter, from all across the globe for many many years to come.
Visitors will be included in a fully encapsulating themed land, which brings the books, by JK Rowling and the movies to life, with a measure of detail and precision.
The world will be true to the visual landscape of the books and films, and will include Hogwarts castle, which will be its focal point.
Lary Kurzweil, the President of Universal Studios Hollywood made a statement regarding the new attraction.
"Harry Potter is an exhilarating multi generational global phenomenon that has captivated the world's attention across every one of its mediums, from books and movies to exhilarating theme park adventures," states Kurzweil.
He goes on to add that the upcoming debut of "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: will bring the guests of Universal Studios Hollywood a unique, new and exciting experience.
