NBC has released its first teaser for the third season of Hannibal, however the trailer is not very long, so it does not tell viewers much about what happens after the second season finale.

However, it does focus on the relationship that Hannibal begins to build with Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier, played by Gillian Anderson.

The soundtrack that the teaser plays to is "Happy Together" by the Turtles. The teaser mostly highlights the surroundings and adventures of Hannibal and Dr. Maurier as they are on the run.

At one point in the teaser, Hannibal can be seen wearing a leather jacket at what appears to be a cocktail party. The teaser also gives viewers a small hint of which direction the storyline will be headed in for season three.

Will Graham will have to face a lot of chaos in the race to catch his enemy. We left Will quite beside himself at the end of season 2, after Hannibal killed almost everyone that he knew.

It has already been confirmed that Hannibal will include the "Tooth Fairy" story line in Season 3. This story has already been explored in Red Dragon, and Michael Mann's Manhunter.

Francis Dolarhyde will be played by Richard Armitage, known from the Hobbit trilogy, for his role as Thorin.

Dolarhyde eventually becomes the Tooth Fairy, of course, but there is no further clue as to how the showrunners will use and change the story that has been built up by Thomas Harris' novels.

We can probably expect that there will be less cooking from Hannibal in Season 3, since he's on the lam. Season 3 is set to premiere on June 4^th at 10:00 pm.
