'Halo Wars 2' Release Date News: 343 Industries Confirms A Playable Version At E3 2016
Recently it was revealed that Microsoft's upcoming video game "Halo Wars 2" is set to appear at the E3 2016 event.
According to Halo Way Point, the "Halo Wars 2" team is anxiously preparing for E3, where the game will be featured with a playable version. The website also mentions that the gaming teams across the studio are shifting gears for the forthcoming Hog Wild REQ Drop and the Warzone Firefight release. However, the report remained tight-lipped on additional other details which are yet to be revealed.
"Halo Wars 2" stands as the sequel to "Halo Wars," which was released in 2009. According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the upcoming game sequel is set to involve real-time strategy, just like its predecessor.
It should also feature massive battles and fast-paced dynamics, in addition to an all-new Halo story. Developed by 343 Industries and The Creative Assembly, the game is set to launch exclusively on Microsoft's Xbox One and Windows 10.
With regards to Hog Wild REQ Drop, the update caters new items, which include modes of transportation, suits, and weapons. The vehicles include the rally warthog, rally scout warthog, the sword needler warthog, and the vespin rocket warthog. The suits featured are the starfire, stingers, and the interceptor rictus. Along with the aurum, the guns included are the hybrid SMG, AR, BR, DMR, and Number Eleven.
Microsoft's "Halo Wars 2" is set to come out in the fall of 2016. Meanwhile, the Hog Wild Drop is available on May 31. Watch the game teaser trailer here.
