'Halo Wars 2' News: Title Reveals New Beta In 2017; Test Beta Promises Better Gameplay
New details on the release date of 343 Industry and Creative Assembly's "Halo Wars 2" game beta have surfaced.
Fans are set to see the newest "Halo Wars 2" beta in the early part of 2017, Windows Central has learned. As per the publication, the forthcoming beta test is set to be accessible for both the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows version 10.
On Aug. 11, 343 Industries Strategy Games Studio Head Dan Ayoub gave fans details on what to be expect from the test beta. He wrote on Xbox's official webpage that the "Halo Wars 2" multiplayer beta in June was a true development beta and in line with the single modifications they had made, such as user interface and flow enhancements, game mode pacing, and unit tuning, they are set to improve more features.
According to Ayoub, the five areas the studio was set to focus were controls, leader abilities, bases, resources and energy, and population. For the studio head, the aforementioned were just a portion of the high level upgrades they were making and all of them were possible because of the players' feedback.
"Halo Wars 2" is 343 Industry and Creative Assembly's forthcoming real-time strategy or RTS game and sequel to "Halo Wars" in 2009. Set in the fictional realm of the "Halo" series, the title centers on the come back of the human crew aboard the UNSC warship named Spirit of Fire, along with the rise of a new alien group called the Banished.
343 Industries and Creative Assembly's "Halo Wars 2" is set to be released for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on Feb. 21, 2017.
