'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' Update: April 2015 Patch Live Now On Xbox One [DETAILS]

The new Halo: The Master Chief Collection April 2015 patch has just been released by 343 Industries. The update is now available for download by gamers across the globe and it is only 1600 MB large.

In order to download the patch, you just have to log into Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Once you log in, you will be prompted to download the latest content update which will focus on improving game features such as ranking, matchmaking penalties, stability and also improvements for each game that are specific to the titles.

In ranking, many improvements have been made in terms of the consistency of ranking and penalties.

Issues have also been resolved which had previously caused players to rank down too much, by dropping them several levels after a loss and causing their ranks to appear incorrectly.

As far as quitting and betrayals go, the patch adds new quit and betrayal penalties to matchmaking. In a ranked playlist, quitting a game is the same as a loss, and that is defined as leaving the game in any way.

If you quit a match, your ranking will be directly affected. In addition, quits and betrayals are tracked automatically and players who do these things excessively, will face consequences of some sort.

In the patch, you can also find that the achievements function has been optimized. An issue has been resolved, which would have cause the "The Guardians Are Coming" achievement not to unlock the way that it should.

Issues that also caused complications with the Spartan Ops achievements have also been resolved. These along with improvements specific to Halo CE, Halo 2 Classic, Halo 3, and Halo 4 will be a part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection patch.
