Recently, Microsoft just announced that "Halo: The Fall of Reach," is now available on Blu-ray. The gun-blazing military sci-fi action animation story will also be available on DVD and video on demand.

The animation will serve as a prequel to the series' very first game, "Halo: Combat Evolved." The sci-fi action novel is created by Eric Nyulun.

Microsoft's official announcement regarding the release of "Halo: The Fall of Reach" also included a description that reads:

"This animated feature explores the dramatic origins and intrigue behind the SPARTAN program that propelled characters like the Master Chief and Dr. Catherine Halsey into the pantheon of Halo lore. The story reveals the events that brought Master Chief and Blue Team together, including their Spartan training and their daring mission to strike back at the Covenant during the first days of the deadly alien invasion."

The duration of the story is 65 minutes. "SEQUENCE", the Vancouver-based, award winning animation company, produced and directed the action packed animation. SEQUENCE promised that "HALO: The Fall of Reach," can't be compared to any Halo stories because it is the most ambitious of its kind yet.

People can buy the Blue ray for $24.99, $20.99 for the DVD, while video on demand is $14.99. Also, viewing through the Halo streaming channel would cost $9.99.

For those who have the Digital Deluxe Edition, Limited Edition, or Limited Collector's Edition of "Halo 5: Guardians," you don't have to worry about buying anymore because it is already included there according to Vine Report (Exclusive for Xbox one).
