'Halo 5' News: 'Guardians' Gameplay Released for XBox Wire

A new gameplay of Halo 5: Guardians has been released by the game developer 343 Industries. Josh Holmes, the executive of 343 Industries, made the game presentation during Microsoft's Xbox media briefing. The presentation happened before the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 15, 2015.

Although the presentation was short, it was exciting as it reveals the game's campaign, characters and co-op gameplay.

The team explained that the Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer mode, called as War Zone, is a player versus player (PvP) suite. For this to happen, the team need to go to the very core of their engine and re-engineer it.

Holmes said, "It's the biggest story we've ever told in Halo; it's galactic in scale." He also added, "We have Warzone, which is an epic multiplayer experience merging PvP and PvE."

Campaign environment lead, Justin Dinges wrote, "In much of the campaign you may be playing at 1080p, but when we want to get really insane with vehicles, visual effects and combat we can trade some of the resolution in order to maintain the crucial 60fps".

From the beginning 343 Industries already revealed that the goal was to accomplish a constant 60fps gameplay during the whole game.

With regards to multiplayer experience, Halo 5: Guardians will match players according to their skill level. This might be a disadvantage for other gamers, but great news for those who are seeking for a really competitive gaming experience.

Moreover, the map selection for multiplayer will be altered. "No voting or veto, just straight rotation", Holmes tweet on Twitter.

Xbox One Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Bundle will be out at least for most parts of the world on October 20. It will be out on October 22 in Japan and the official release is set on October 27.
