'Halo 5' Forge News: New Features In Windows 10; Game Download Extended For Xbox Live Gold Members

In line with 343 Industries' "Halo 5 Forge," it is revealed that the title is set to have new features, such as a Windows 10 Edition. Also, Xbox Live Gold members are set to rejoice, since the duration for the title's free download has been extended.

The Windows 10 Edition of "Halo 5 Forge" was unveiled at the RTX 2016, WCCF Tech has learned. As per the publication, the game is also set to have various features,which are set to be applied in both the Xbox One and Windows 10 release in the coming fall. These features include file browser, tutorials, keyboard, and mouse support, among others.

Along with keyboard and mouse support, it is further revealed that the experiences built on Windows 10 can be published to and played on the Xbox One. Also, gamers can enlist their friends' help when it comes to building, testing, and playing their Forge creations, along with the games natural support for multiple resolutions, which cover 4K. With these features, it is assumed that it will let gamers across the globe have no ceiling when it comes to an enjoyable gaming experience.

The aforementioned updates serve as additions to other "Halo 5 Forge" outputs. Previously, fans saw the Quidditch and Star Wars podracing Halo versions, as per Game Spot; thus, it is assumed that the next updates will spark fans' interest.

Meanwhile, Halo's official Twitter account revealed that the download duration for "Halo 5" had been extended for those who have an Xbox Live Gold account. On July 1, Halo wrote on Twitter that they had added an extra day for Xbox Live Gold members to download and play "Halo 5" for free. Play now through July 6!"
