Shouyou Hinata and Tobio Kageyama are set to become allies in "Haikyuu" season 3.

"Haikyuu" season 3 will be titled "Haikyuu!! Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen Koukou." According to Hall of Fame Magazine, the series is set to see Hinata and Kageyama play in the same team. The show's third season is set to follow the story lines of its predecessors and as per the publication, Hinata sees Kageyama wearing the same uniform he wears.

It is known that in the plot, high school student Hinata joined the Karasuno High volleyball team to fulfill him dream and to be like the King of Court Kageyama. The former denied that fact the Kageyama is going to be his teammate, but Karasuno High's setter Koshi Sugawa told him that he can view the latter as a dependable ally. This boosts his moral, letting him recall that his primary aim is to be like the King of Court.

It looks like things are set to change in "Haikyuu" season 3, as they will be playing together in the same side of the court. Whether they are set to develop a new bond as friends from becoming allies or maintain their rivalry is yet to be revealed. Also, it is revealed that the characters have to undergo their school's approval prior to having a match, since passing the examinations are required before they join any game.

"Haikyuu" season 2 has just finished on June 12, but this did not stop fans from speculating the story arc of season 3, according to Ecumenical News. Meanwhile, "Haikyuu" season 3 is set to premiere in the fall this year.
