Gwen Stefani News: 'No Doubt' Singer Back In Judges Chair After Split From Gavin Rossdale
Gwen Stefani of No Doubt came back to her judge's chair on The Voice after her 3rd August announcement of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, lead singer of Bush.
She rejoined fellow judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams on the Los Angeles set of The Voice as they gear up for season 9.
Stefani "has been busy and focusing on work," according to a statement from a source to PEOPLE.
The pair stated to PEOPLE, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."
Stefani, 45, and Rossdale, 49, had been together for 20 years and married for nearly 13, and the split announced earlier this month came as a shock to fans.
The couple "were trying to make it work for the kids," the source stated. In the end however, they were "living separate lives".
Although Stefani will continue to work, her main priority will always be her children - Kingston, 9; Zuma - 7; and Apollo, 17 months, especially during this time when they will need all her support.
To this end, both Stefani and Rossdaleare making it a point to spend as much time as they can with the children at their Beverley Hills mansion.
"Knowing how she is as a mom, her top priority is making sure her kids feel secure and comforted during the process," as told to PEOPLE.
