‘Guitar Hero Live’ Release Date, Details, News: Activision to Launch New Game in Q3 2015

After five years of hiatus, Activision is back with the announcement of popular new guitar-simulator 'Guitar Hero Live' which will be available in Q3 of this year. The company marked it with a price of $99 and is making it available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and even select mobile devices.

Eager gaming and music fans cannot wait to find out what is in store for the first person live-action experience with the new game guitar. The new guitar will not be the same as the previous Guitar Hero as there were huge modifications made to the device. Activision has tweaked button designs from the previous five colored button to a three versus two button position similar to an actual guitar. The new guitar only has five frets instead of six.

The new game expects you to play like a pro rockstar in a concert simulation with the crowd jumping up and down. The previous cartoon graphics have been replaced with that which is more entertaining and almost realistic. Game developers have also done well with the crowd's feedback to how you are hitting the right buttons on the game and even your bandmates in the background will display their own emotions.

Activision has also added a free to download list of Music videos which gamers can select to play on Guitar Hero TV activated by the box button at the bottom of the guitar. In addition to this, GH Live will have an online multiplayer feature where gamers can compete with each other live.

As to hinting about having GH Live available in "select mobile devices", there were no further details on this however with the recent Android and PS3/PS4 game streaming, this is quite possible. Activision confirmed that the game would be full-featured like the other consoles and would not need subscription or fees.

Gamers are expecting more from Activision's Guitar Hero Live in June for E3 in Los Angeles, California.
