'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' Spoilers, News: Director to Introduce his Personal Favorite Superhero in Sequel
If there has been one thing the writer and director of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' has not been, it's shy about revealing details for his highly anticipated sequel film, 'Guardians of The Galaxy 2'.
Director James Gunn has already developed the story he is going to tell for 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' and it has been reported that Marvel has called it "risky", which seems right up the director's alley.
On a recent Twitter Q&A, Gunn was asked, "James, is there a favorite superhero you want to bring to the big screen?!!"
His simple and mysterious response was:
"And will do so in GOTG 2!"
This infers that Gunn's favorite superhero will be introduced in the new movie, and the comment now has every comic book fan in a frenzy trying to figure out who this might be.
The director later made a response on everyone's speculation:
"Two dozen articles this morning on who my favorite superhero might be and all of them seem to assume it's a male. What's up with that?"
Gunn is obviously having fun with this, but the viable options have been narrowed down to three female characters.
Nix, a Guardians member, Moondragon, earthling daughter to Drax the Destroyer, or Quasar, daughter to the original male Captain Marvel.
On that note, we may never know who it really is before the movie's release date on May 5th, 2017.
