'GTA Online' Update News: 'Cunning Stunts' Expansion's New Racing Mode Leaked

Along with the release of "Grand Theft Auto Online's" new expansion, it is also revealed that the game is set to receive a new stunt racing mode.

According to PC Gamer, "GTA Online" is set to get a "Trackmania-esque" stunt racing mode called "Cunning Stunts." The said mode has built-in tubes, loops, boost pads, crazy jumps, plus an array of new vehicles, which are designed for those who have demonstrated expertise on them.

Stunt Races happen on a grander scale, according to the game's developer Rockstar Games. A case in point is traversing above the Los Santos skyline or between the blades of RON Alternatives Windmill Farm.

According to the developer, vehicles can go up and down through the said loops and tubes, as well as run at great speed, diverge, and merge across several pathways and pass through large rings of fire.

According to the studio, the gaps, terrain, jumps, and obstacles per race are designed to be on par with the features of certain vehicle groups like the new super cars, motorbikes, and sports cars. In addition, the vehicle drivers are tattooed and dressed while sporting their motocross gear, racing suits, helmets, and other add ons.

In June, "GTA Online" received one of its largest updates in the "Further Adventures in Finance and Felony" expansion. It lets players become the head of their own criminal organization and buy their own contraband across Los Angeles City. Also, they have to work in competition with other criminals in the crime world.

Rockstar Games' "GTA Online: Cunning Stunts" is set to be released on July 12.
