'GTA Online' Update, Latest Patch News: How Gamers Can Avoid Death By Becoming Ghost

The latest patch for "GTA Online" allows gamers to avoid death when faced with much superior opponent by becoming a ghost, according to the latest news from Rockstar.

The Ghosted to Player option can be found on the Wasted screen.

However, the option will not show up as default since there are several conditions for that to happen.

First is if you get killed by the same player three times within five minutes. Second is if you did not inflict damage on that player during that same span.

"This option can be found alongside the Respawn, Passive and One on One Deathmatch options and is triggered via R1/RB and displays as 'Go Ghosted to Player X,'" the website said. "Once this option has been selected, you and Player X will be ghosted to each other and each other only for two minutes."

There's another update to the Contact Mission unlock feature. Again, there's criteria to do this. Unlocking the missions and launch them directly from the start menu requires the player to reach the required rank for the level, or play the mission directly through an invite, according to the news shared by Playstation Lifestyle.

Of course, the latest patch of "GTA Online" is meant to fix the glitches and improve overall stability, network performance and gameplay. Also, the loading time between sessions is also drastically improved.
