'GTA Online' Update: Fans Complete All Heists Challenges; Earn $12 Million Prize Money [VIDEO]
There was a time when it was believed that completing the heist challenges of 'Grand Theft Auto Online' would be an impossible task, but recently a group of fans were successful in achieving the job, and without losing any lives either!
According to Latin Post, although the job wasn't easy by any means, players Desert_Templar, DEVELISH12-9, KoingWolf, and Edub_1234 not only accomplished their mission, but also earned $12 million in prize money.
Addressing a 'Grand Theft Auto' forum, an user and one of the successful players KoingWolf said, "It was the most fun I've had in 'GTA Online' ever and one of the most stressful challenges I've ever experienced in a video game."
According to New York City-based video game developer Rockstar, the aptitude to perform heists was initiated just over a week ago, on March 10. The developer encouraged players to participate in the Criminal Mastermind challenge, which helped the crew members to earn rewards worth $10 million. At the launch, the heists were engulfed with recurrent server errors, but Rockstar was quick to address the bugs by releasing patch by the end of last week.
While the developer had promised 'Grand Theft Auto Online' players heists of the prize money over a year ago, the aptitude to perform the complicated missions did not reach the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 until several months after the 'GTA 5' arrived on the eighth-generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Meanwhile, Rockstar has announced that the action-adventure title will arrive on the PC in April. The release date was delayed by the developer from Jan. 27.
