'GTA Online' DLC News: ‘Biker’ Update To Be The Next DLC Theme?; System Down Due To Maintenance
Maps, rewards, and bikes are the highlights of Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online" DLC updates. In line with the game, "GTA Online" server is reportedly down due to maintenance.
According to Rockstar Games' official website, an event called "High Life Week" can be utilized by "GTA Online" players to enhance their gaming experience. It is an in-game event in celebration of two new maps for "GTA Online" players and it is scheduled to run from Apr. 22 to Apr. 28.
As per the website, the new maps are included in the "Inch by Inch" playlist for "GTA Online" gameplay, in addition to 20 percent off all yachts, 25 percent off yacht customization, 25 percent off stilt houses and penthouses, 50 percent off on selected clothing, and 50 percent off the bullup rifle.
GTA$ and RP Playlist are also going to be doubled this week, in addition to players' rotating Double RP Playlist. Furthermore, players can earn Double RP through playing any of the VIP Work or VIP Challenges with their organization, along with the slew of contact missions in the "High Life" update.
According to Neurogadget, the next theme for the "GTA Online" downloadable content is set to be the "Biker Update," aside from the "Police" theme that is being speculated by other fans and players. As per the publication, 70 biker crews had launched a campaign to have Rockstar release the DLC at one point in the future. They reportedly began a petition for the said update and it had already had more than 4,500 signatures.
Meanwhile, Rockstar tweeted on Apr. 26 that "GTA Online" would be undergoing maintenance on Apr. 27 at 1:00 AM EDT/5:00 AM UTC, which was approximately five hours; thus, disabling players from logging in to their respective accounts.
"GTA" is developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.
