GTA 6 Release Date Rumors: Internet Communities Estimate June 2017 Release for Rockstar’s New Game
Bizzare rumors have begun to circulate the Internet in the last few weeks about a Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto VI release sometime in 2017. While it seems unlikely that the gaming company would release a new title so close to their latest addition to the Grand Theft Auto series; GTA 6 has at least been confirmed.
Some rumors are more specific, saying that the game will be released in June 2017. Quoting Rockstar's announcement at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, they say that the game is likely to be christened "Return to Vice City."
However, there is much vagueness surrounding the origin of such release dates. Many media websites also list June 2017 as the launch date, but do not have official statements from Rockstar or any other credible source.
Interestingly enough, Rockstar Games did not mention a word about the release date of GTA VI during their E3 press conference in June, they simply announced that the game will be available on multi-players, including Xbox One, PS4 and Online.
Irrespective of the rumors and speculations, it does not seem that Rockstar will be announcing the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI anytime soon, as the fifth edition of the game is scheduled for re-release on the PC and next-gen consoles. At the same time, the company is now focusing on updating "Grand Theft Auto Online."
Meanwhile, Rockstar has already announced the release of "Grand Theft Auto Online" Independence Day Special for the July 4 holiday.
