'GTA 6' Release Date News, Rumors: Title To Be Released In 2018; Game Could Be London Setting?
New details on the release date of Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6" have been revealed, including talks that the game title could be London-based.
Rockstar Games' upcoming game title is set to be released in 2018, Neurogadget has learned. As per the publication, the said release time line has been derived from the information that the title generally forms a pattern of five-year interval between games. Based from the given release trend, specifically "GTA 5," which was released in 2013, a 2018 release date for "GTA 6" is logical.
While it is assumed that "GTA 6" is set to arrive two years from now, Rockstar Games is yet to reveal exact details on the title's official release date.
In other news, "GTA 6" could be set in London, The Sun has learned. As per the publication, the English-based city transitions from the game's usual fictional city in the United States. In fact, "GTA 6" developer Dan Houser previously teased that the upcoming title is going to be set in a area outside the United States.
In his interview with The Guardian, Houser said that these days, he thought that they would love to set a game in the United Kingdom, set in London. The game developer, however, made a disclaimer that he did not know if it would be a "GTA" game.
Along with the aforementioned details on "GTA 6," it is also revealed that the title's trailer is set to come soon. According to rumors, as cited by N4BB, the official trailer of Rockstar Games' forthcoming title could arrive in the latter part of 2016 or in the early past of 2017.
For the time being, "GTA 6" is assumed to be released in 2018.
