'GTA 5' PC System Requirements Details, News: Unofficial Required Specs Released Online
Fans of 'Grand Theft Auto V' are delighted that their prolonged wait to play the popular action-adventure video game on their PCs is nearly over, as Rockstar Games has scheduled its release for Jan. 27 this year.
However, the fans are also disappointed that Rockstar has yet to confirm the PC system requirements for the game.
While many are still skeptical that there may be last minute changes by Rockstar before the scheduled release date of the game, others are concerned that in the absence of any announcement regarding the specific PC system requirements to play the game, they may not be prepared properly even if the game is released on Jan. 27.
According to Christian Today, as the official PC system requirements are not yet confirmed, the players will have to solely depend on the unconfirmed PC system requirements posted by WCCF Tech. The requirements listed by the website are noted below.
In order to play the upcoming 'GTA V' game on their PC, the minimum system requirements are as follows:
- CPU: Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz or Phenom II X2 545
- GPU: GeForce GT 530
- RAM: 4 GB
- OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64 bit
- HDD Space: 20 GB
The recommended system specs from WCCF Tech are written below:
- CPU Core i5-2500T 2.3 GHz or Phenom II X4 975
- GPU: GeForce GTX 480 or Radeon HD 6970
- RAM: 6 GB
- OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1 64 bit
- HDD Space: 20 GB
In fact, high graphic requirements are needed to play 'GTA V' on PC. This is quite normal considering the in-game graphics, which form an integral part of most games these days. So, this is also applicable for 'GTA V'.
However, before you check your computer specs or try to suddenly upgrade your system, just remember that the information provided above is unofficial. As of now, Rockstar Games has yet to confirm the exact PC required specs.
