Grand Theft Auto 5 PC Release Date Rumored for March 2014 Launch as Amazon, Rockstar Announcement Fails to Materialize

The GTA 5 PC release date was touted to be announced over the past week, however, the week has come and gone and still no official word on when the hit game will be made available to PC gamers.

Rumors about the Grand Theft Auto 5 release date hit fever pitch over recent weeks as reports emerged saying that Amazon was set to announce the release of the hit game on Christmas Eve.

However, even though thousands of fans across the globe waited for an announcement the date came and went and no announcement was made by Amazon.

The rumors were initially sparked by an online German customer support representative who stated, "according to our information, GTA 5 PC will be announced on 12/24 and according to our source, it will be released in the USA on 03/12 and here on 03/14."

However, with just days left of 2013 there has still been no announcement by either Amazon or makers Rockstar.

That means fans eager to play the game on the PC will have to wait a bit longer before any official news arrives for the massively anticipated game.

Even though the date of the announcement has been proven wrong, the March release date is still being touted by online gaming sites as most likely to be correct.

Rumors have been rife for months that the GTA 5 PC release date would land in the first quarter of 2014, and a March date would fit perfectly into those rumors.

Even though many will be disappointed that no announcement has come yet, many will now look to early January to hear something from Rockstar about when GTA 5 will finally land on the PC.
