'GTA 5' DLC News, Rumors: New Challenge Involves No Cars? Rockstar Offers Huge Discounts On Rifles, Rides

Fans of "GTA 5" have been combing the Internet for any news on the new DLC, and their efforts are rewarded with the latest leak about an added challenge that is time-bound and apparently doesn't involve any cars.

The new challenge in Adversary Mode of "GTA 5" is reportedly called "Inch by Inch," presumably named after the famous Al Pacino speech on the football movie, "Any Given Sunday."

"It appears the new mode will be played on foot and will require GTA 5 fans to hold a package and take to an end-zone area," Express reported.

"While holding it, the player will run faster, however, if the scores remain even at the end of the time given, the game will go to sudden death."

Neurogadget also dished some news about a possible new DLC for "GTA 5" as it shared a rumor about a storyline featuring actor, Maylay.

"The picture had been captioned with the DLC. However, when Maylay reposted it, the letters were not mentioned in the post," the site said. "Before this incident, there have been an array of rumors circulating that the new content of FLC was for GTA 5."

For lack of news updates on the "GTA 5" DLC, Rockstar however announced that it is offering massive discounts on purchases in line with the GTA Online Lowriders: Custom Classics event.

The developer announced, "To celebrate the launch, the Lowriders Custom Classics Event Week is now live with some special week-long deals, plenty of Double GTA$ & RP opportunities, a #customclassics Snapmatic contest with a GTA$1M prize, exclusive Social Club merchandise sweepstakes and the official Rockstar Broadcast livestream."
