‘GTA 5’ Cheats, Patch Notes for PS3, Xbox 360: ‘I’m Not a Hipster’ Update Released

User feedback on the 1.13 GTA Online patch focused mostly on the exploits and glitches players could take advantage of (unlimited money, XP cheats). This prompted Rockstar Games to release another update, patch 1.14 "I'm Not a Hipster", during their server maintenance beginning June 7 and ending June 11.

In an official statement, Rockstar announced that the newest 1.14 update allows users to "express your incredible individualism and stand out from the herd with the post ironic, artisanal, organic, entirely independent..."

It will feature new retro print tees, skinny jeans, hairstyles, tattoos, animal masks and other gameplay enhancements. Additional real estate properties will also be available to players including, Eclipse Towers, Richard Majestic, and many more.

The "High Life" update, released one week prior to this new 1.14 patch, turned sour as players took advantage of exploits that earned quick cash, as much as $280,000 almost instantly. Besides that, some players were able to gain experience with underhanded tactics that set new players at an incredible disadvantage.

One GTA 5 gamer wrote on Rockstart Support thread, "So, I went into a public lobby tonight with my lowly little level 18, and had a very rude awakening. I did not even make it out of my apartment. The minute I spawned there, there was 2 explosions. 1, my entire garage contents were destroyed instantly, and the second explosion killed me while I was still in my apartment. Once this happened I was teleported many blocks away all to be targeted again twice..."

Rockstar continues to develop and release updates that will work around hacks and hopefully prevent cheating in the future.
