The 17^th episode of "Grimm" season 5 will see how the lives of the local youth will be put in jeopardy by an old code of vengeance that has been embraced by Japanese Wesen. The episode will also feature the long-awaited, chilling encounter between Eve and Adalind.

In the promo video released by NBC, Eve asks Nick if he sees any transformation in Adalind. Torn between Eve and Adalind, Nick finds his powers coming back. Towards the end of the clip, Eve unexpectedly bumps into Adalind and confronts her about Nick. She warns her to stay away from him, because if something happens to Nick, she will come after her. Adalind slowly backs away.

"Local youths are in danger due to an ancient code of vengeance that has been adopted by Japanese Wesen, and Adalind crosses paths with Eve upon returning to work at her old law firm," says the synopsis for the episode.

The episode will also star Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Keiko Agena.

In other news, the NBC announced recently that the long-running TV series will be renewed for another season.

"We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons. They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can't wait to see what comes next," reads the press release statement of Jennifer Stalke, NBC Entertainment executive.

"Grimm" season 5 chronicles the life of homicide detective and supernatural creature fighter Nick Burkhardt. Its next episode, titled "Inugami," airs on April 15, 9:00 P.M. on NBC.
