In line with its 100th episode, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) are set to see the keys amidst peril in "Grimm" season 5 episode 12.

"Grimm" season 5 episode 12 is entitled "Into the Schwarzwald." According to Spoilers Guide, the episode will see Grimm on its 100th as Nick and Monroe plummet into trouble. As per the publication, the duo is set to find a treasure in Germany that had been concealed for several decades.

The publication also revealed that in Portland, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) works hand in hand with Hank (Russel Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) to hunt down a dangerous assassin who has brought trouble to Portland. However, they did not know that Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) also aims to find the same man on her own while somebody from Rosalee's (Bree Turner) past hunts her down.

According to International Business Times UK, Nick and Monroe are also set to find the Seven Keys in Germany in "Grimm" season 5 episode 12. In a new promo, it has been revealed that the duo was in an underground locale when Nick said that it must have been the church. Then, they saw a bag full of keys, which they opened, and Nick said that it was the one they were looking for, after coming from afar.

Show co-creators David Greenwalt and James Kouf also revealed their insights with regard the keys. In an interview with TV Line, Greenwalt said that they finally answer the issue about keys and Kouf added that they wrapped up those"s*ckers." Greenwalkt also teased that it was not just the keys, but there were some other things needed to open the box when they finally got their hands on it after a lot of toil.
