‘Grimm’ Season 4 Premiere Date: Episode 1 ‘Thanks For the Memories’ Airs Oct. 24, Powerless Nick & New Wesen

NBC's supernatural cop drama 'Grimm' is back with its fourth season with Episode 1, entitled "Thanks for The Memories," which will show how Nick will cope with being powerless.

Last season's shocking finale showed Adalind (Claire Coffee) robbing Nick (David Giuntoli) of his ability to see mythological creatures, called "Wesen."

Now, fans will get to see how Nick will adjust as he asks Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) for help. Apparently, she will serve as his "seeing-eye" Grimm.

International Business Times reports that Nick will spend a good amount of time as a normal person and will have the chance to develop a normal relationship with Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) as well.

"Grimm powers are gone from Nick, and he's enjoyed his new normalcy, in a lot of ways, but he also knows that the Wesen are out there. So first and foremost, he's going to be using Trubel as his seeing-eye Grimm," Giuntoli stated in an interview with Collider.

However, according to TV Line, there wILL also be long-term and "potentially game-changing" effects, for nick after he loses his power. Also, his relationship with Adalind will be severely effected as well.

On a side note, 'Orange is the New Black' actress Elizabeth Rodriguez will be starring in the upcoming episode of 'Grimm' as Agent Chavez, who's a detective working on the case of Renard's (Sasha Roiz) shooter who becomes suspicious of Trubel.

Also, images of several new Wesen that will be seen in the fourth season of 'Grimm' were revealed by Entertainment Weekly.

One of the creatures which will be featured in Episode 2 and is shown in the trailer is part-man, part octopus. Beyond that, this Wesen will be able to dig into its victim's head and suck memories using its four tentacles.

'Grimm' Season 4 Episode 1, "Thanks to the Memories" will air on NBC on Friday, Oct. 24 at 9 pm.
