With the "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 premiere just a couple of weeks away, fans are already itching to have all their questions about the series answered, especially those that have to do with the romance department.

According to reports, one of the biggest romantic storylines that fans should anticipate next season is the love triangle between Meredith, Riggs and Maggie. It can be recalled that after the season 12 finale, Meredith was the only one who knew they were actually in a love triangle. It is expected that as the new season premieres, things will get messier for the threesome as Maggie finds out about her half-sister Meredith's secret hookup with Dr. Nathan Riggs.

In a recent interview, actress Ellen Pompeo dished on the sticky situation that Meredith will get into next season.

"She's finding herself in this triangle that Maggie for sure is going to see as a betrayal. Call me crazy, but I smell a little drama," she said.

Despite the love triangle, however, series creator Shonda Rhimes said that witness won't witness any catfight next season, as "Grey's Anatomy" is not a show about a guy torn between two women.

Another romantic storyline that fans anticipate next season is that of Alex and Jo. In the previous season, Jo refused to marry Alex after revealing to him that she was already married to an abusive man in the past, whom she had escaped.

Fans will also know what happens to Jackson and April, who are currently divorced but welcomed a new child in the season 12 finale.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 premieres on Sept. 22 on ABC.
