Jo is set to confront Meredith, who reportedly moves on from Derek's death in "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 14. Also, the former is set to have a relationship with a new doctor named Nathan Riggs.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 14 is entitled "Odd Man Out." According to Melty, the episode is set to see a confrontation between Jo and Meredith. As per the publication, the promo clip for the episode sees Jo tell Meredith that the latter did not like her. Jo added that that she was in Alex's life and Meredith were always blocking her way.

In other news, Meredith is also set to move on from Derek's death in "Odd Man Out." According to Cinema Blend, the latter's death could be a surprise to the series' fans, since had been about two years after the said death, in the show's timeline. As per the publication, the previous season showcased a one-year time leap while the new season highlighted events set few months on top of the former.

The publication added that it is not the first time fans had seen Meredith go out and look for potential love interests since "Grey's Anatomy" season 3. It has been revealed that the series' first three seasons saw the central character hang out with a veterinarian until she opted to be with Derek. After that, she had never displayed any other romantic interests toward other guys.

Meredith seems to have another love interest in the upcoming episodes, with newcomer Dr. Riggs, who is played by Martin Henderson, according to Carter Matt. This could be a highlight of the season, but the publication mentioned that she could be getting along with Major Thorpe first, but it might not last.
