Meredith and Amelia are set to think twice on their relationships in ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 16. Also, Stephanie will shock fans, as Jerricka Hinton delivers her character's fate in the series.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 16 is entitled "When It Hurts So Bad." According to Design & Trend, episode 16 is set to see Meredith opting to go out on a date with Will, but their date will not go as planned. As per the publication, Will asks Meredith for a kiss when the latter says goodbye.

In a promo clip, Meredith is seen with a naked Will in her bedroom, which means that something happened to them on their date. The former is set to have a panic attack due to the incident, asking the latter to leave her room. Her roommates Maggie and Amelia also panicked when they heard her screams.

Meredith expresses regret that she went out and slept with Will; however, exact details relating on her current feelings are unclear for the time being and are yet to be revealed.

Amelia is also set to re-evaluate her relationship with Owen in "When It Hurts So Bad." It has been revealed in the previous episode that the former opted to leave Owen after he broke down with his conflict with Nathan. Owen pleaded Amelia not to leave him, but the latter was firm with her decision.

Meanwhile, Hinton, who plays Stephanie in the series, talked about her character's story arc in the series. In her interview with Cosmopolitan (via Christian Post), Hinton said that there was a plot point that happened near the end of the season, where Stephanie made a decision that a human being would not make. This "decision" is yet to be revealed.

According to Spoilers Guide, the episode will see Meredith move a step forward with Will; however, she quickly regrets it. Also, Amelia is set to reflect about her dynamics with Owen while Catherine arrives to the town and creates some tension between April and Jackson.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 16, "When It Hurts So Bad," is set to air on Mar. 31 on ABC.
