Titled "I Wear the Face," "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 17 centers on the story of Owen and Nathan.

Based on the trailer for the upcoming episode, the segment will bring to light the reason for Owen's loathing towards one of his fellow doctors at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

While episode 16 focused on the date of Meredith and Will, Sofia's head laceration, Maggie and Andrew's real score and Catherine and April's custody issues, episode 17 will shift its focus on the truth behind the enmity between Nathan and Owen.

Synopsis for the episode published on the official website of ABC reveals that Meredith will be the one to find out first why Owen hates Nathan, as the three of them take a trip to a hospital to pick up a heart for an upcoming transplant surgery.

Asked about the relationship of Nathan and Owen in a recent interview, McKidd said: "The audience will definitely get more information next week. We're going to get more, but not all of it, and not the key elements to it. We're going to get very enticing hints next week, and hints that people will be able to draw their own conclusions. The actual spelling out of what happens is going to be saved until we come back."

Episode 17 will also see the admission of Kyle Diaz to the hospital following his multiple sclerosis attack. A promo video for the episode shows that Diaz will flirt with Penny and Amelia, but will be most attracted to Stephanie.

"God, why are all the doctors in this hospital so hot?" he said.
