The Season 11 Winter finale of 'Grey's Anatomy', the highly popular medical drama on ABC, will be aired on Thursday, Nov. 20. The official synopsis of 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 11 Episode 8 titled "Risk" suggests that episode will end in a major cliffhanger.

The synopsis released by the show creator reads, "Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) disagree with Derek (Patrick Dempsey) about the best way to approach a patient's case, which leads to a bigger argument between the couple." While the viewers will once again be seeing MerDer's relationship veering off, the disagreement between the two will eventually allow the Ellis' girls to agree on something.

Elsewhere, Callie (Sara Ramirez) will be seen confronting problems at work, as she will feel that she is responsible for pushing one of her veteran patients too far.

However, the most thrilling part of the synopsis comes in the end. In the upcoming season, viewers will see a doctor at Grey Sloan force a routine procedure to go wrong when results confirm a "devastating diagnosis." The "Orange is The New Black" Season 11 winter finale synopsis ends here.

A promo video of the upcoming episode tells us something more than what is suggested in the synopsis. The Episode 8 trailer shows that while Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) is performing a ultrasound on April (Sarah Drew) she discovers something dreadfully. Viewers will remember that Stephanie's former boyfriend Jackson (Jesse Williams) left her for his April, her co-worker who is now pregnant.

The trailer of "Risk" shows Stephanie saying, "I need you to look at this. I think there's something wrong with Jackson and April's baby. I haven't told her. I haven't told Jackson. I have no idea what to do. Maybe we're wrong."

In response, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) says, "I hope so."
