In the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12, memories of the past come flooding back to Meredith as she reconnects with an old patient named Katie Bryce.

Meredith, then an intern, first met Katie when she performed a surgery on her at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The synopsis for the episode entitled "My Next Life" revealed that the two characters will cross paths for a second time after the doctors confirmed that a new aneurysm has developed since Katie's previous surgery.

Meeting Katie again after so many years would make Meredith walk down the memory lane, since she first met Katie when she and her late husband Derek Shepherd and best friend Cristina Yang were still together.

But there's more to episode 12 than just that. With April Kepner finding out that there is a growing baby in her belly just as she had finalized her divorce with her now ex-husband Jackson Avery, it's definitely going to be wheels within wheels.

While some fans expect the red-headed doctor to consider divulging her unforeseen pregnancy to Jackson, the teaser suggests it's going to be the other way around.

A clip from the trailer of the episode shows Arizona telling April, "You have to tell him." Arizona was with the expectant mother the very moment the pregnancy test came back positive.  

Asked about how April will handle the knotty situation, Drew said: "It is the beginning of a much bigger story. We have a lot of story to tell that is all intertwined in this baby and her decision how, when and if to tell Jackson about the pregnancy, and how all of that comes to light."

Episode 12 will also see Maggie and Andrew's steamy romance on the rocks as Andrew discovers that Richard is actually Maggie's father.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 12 is set to premiere on March 3, on ABC.
