Apparently, according to reports, Season 11 Episode 20 of 'Grey's Anatomy' will have a similar theme to a previous instance in the series, as the doctors will have to face a plane crash once again. The summary for the episode reads, "A small plane crash in Seattle causes multiple casualties."

The episode is called "One Flight Down," and the summary goes on to say that the accident will cause the doctors to recall bad memories, with Meredith and Arizona being especially affected.

In Season 8 of the popular television series, doctors Meredith, Arizona, Cristina, Derek, Lexie and Mark were all involved in a plane crash that was quite fatal.

Lexie died from being crushed by a piece of the plane, Mark's injuries caused internal damage which eventually caused him to die, Derek's hand was stuck in the wall of the plane, and Arizona suffered a leg injury that caused her leg to be amputated.

Meredith sustained only minor injuries compared to these, but was left with considerable emotional scarring, as she had to watch her sister die.

In this season's 20^th episode, Meredith and Arizona hide in the supply closet while the victims of the crash are rushed into the emergency room.

Based on the episode promotional clip, the two doctors will be suffering from the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and not be able to help the rest of the hospital staff in caring for the victims of the incident.

This adds to the stress that Meredith is already feeling with the fact that her husband, Derek, seems to be missing.
