'Grand Theft Auto V' PC & Heists DLC Release Date News: GTA 5 for Windows Delayed Again
Fans of Rockstar's hit game Grand Theft Auto V will have to patiently wait for the PC version of the game as its release date has been delayed again. Originally, the PC version was set to release on March 24. Now it has been pushed back to April 14.
In an official statement, a Rockstar representative said, "Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC."
The company also promised players who have pre-ordered the game a substantial amount of in-game money for GTA online as an apology for the delay.
According to PC Gamer, the representative said, "As always, we ask for the GTA PC community's understanding and assistance in helping to report any concerns during the early days of launch when those inevitable and initial teething issues arise on the new platform."
While waiting, owners of the console version the game can enjoy new heist missions for Grand Theft Auto online coming on March 10. Also, players can turn their copy of Grand Theft Auto IV for the newest version of the franchise by uploading several new mods.
The game, since its initial release in 2013, has received numerous awards including VGX's Most Anticipated Game in 2012, VGX's Game of the Year and Best Soundtrack in 2013.
