'Grand Theft Auto: Online' Event: 'Tornado Week' Details Leaked; New GTA Game Modes, New Car and New Challenges
Log in and play "Grand Theft Auto: Online" to experience the event happening all throughout the first week of April. The event is called "Tornado Week" and players are in for a treat.
Rockstar Games made the announcement through its official website and it reads:
"Log into GTA Online all week long for special Double RP opportunities in curated Playlists as well as in all Sumo Adversary Modes plus Contact Missions from GTA Online: Lowriders, great deals on custom body mods and 10-car garage properties and lots of discounted items from the first Lowriders update."
There will be three separate challenges that will take place in this special event. The first one will be from April 1 until April 3.
The game mode is called "Sumo Adversary Modes." The mode will include a new map where gamers are free to roam around while taking in the challenge.
Street races will happen on April 4 and 5 while a different race event will occur on April 6 to 7. The second set of races will include a different set of jobs.
Also according to the publisher, a new type of car named "Declasse Tornado Custom," is now set to come out on car dealerships or on the game's online car shop.
Some famous GTA: Online gamers will participate in the one-week event, including: LOGIC, members of the FaZe clan Rain, Adapt, Blaziken and many more.
The event will end on April 7 while the final live stream for the "Tornado Week" will start at 5 p.m. and can be streamed through the developer's Twitch and YouTube channels.
