Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Update: Rockstar Launches Double GTA$ and RP Weekend
This weekend GTA Online will be offering double GTA$ and RP in a special bonus that will run today and tomorrow on all jobs and activities.
The next big thing on its way for GTA Online is the High Life and Heists update which will introduce apartments, cars, and other accessories for characters.
Polygon reported that players could buy apartments with the expansion in all new places including the Callisto Apartments, Augury Insurance, CNT Building, Celltowa, Yacht Club, Puerto Del Sol, Von Crastenburg-Richman, and Schlongberg Sachs.
In other news, a petition to bring GTA 5 to the PC has reached over 700,000 signatures.
Rumors for the game have constantly been circulating with no definitive answers or revelations coming from Rockstar Studios.
One of the latest speaks of a Romanian retailer listing the release dates of a PC, PS4, and Xbox One version of the game. Online store Altex is allegedly already processing pre-orders.
According to Cinema Blend, the next-gen console versions of the game will ship out on June 15. With that falling on a Sunday, Examiner has speculated the day is just a place holder until a final date is announced.
Uber Gizmo reported a similar rumor from a German retailer, who said the game should arrive at some point in June.
Other places have reported the PC version of the game will arrive in September. Numerous European publications have began listing the game on their sites, with some going as far as taking pre-orders.
Czech retailer SuperGamer.cz, claim the game is coming on June 13. However, according to some sources the information is a bit suspicious because the platform listed for the game is for "Windows Live," which is not a system currently available.
