‘Gran Turismo Sport’ Release Date, News: Polyphony Drops Rivalry With Forza Series?
Fans have been divided on "Grand Turismo Sport" and "Forza Motorsports" regarding which game is better. And for a time, Polyphony has been battling Microsoft for supremacy but for the latest console game, the developer is going in the other direction.
Bradley Iger of Auto Blog shared the news about Polyphone putting more attention to the online experience by the gamers in a way that is more inclusive and promote "real-world motorsports participation."
While that strategy may disappoint hardcore fans of "Gran Turismo Sport" who may be hoping that Polyphony would address past issues of the game on the technical standpoint, there are other fans who are pining to compete with gamers all over the world.
Meanwhile, the rumors about "Gran Turismo Sport" offering support for VR have been confirmed, the release date will still push through on Nov. 15 later this year. The beta testing will come out most likely in the next three months.
"The game will feature over 140 high-performance cars from the real world, with what looks to be amazingly detailed races both on and offline," said End Gadget. "There are 27 different tracks scaling 19 real-world locales to look forward to as well, such as the Northern Isle Speedway and Tokyo Expressway."
As to the technical standpoint, fans would be glad with the news about "Gran Turismo Sport" featuring better audio, particularly on the synthesized noise as opposed to the recorded engine roar for each of the vehicle in the latest game. Nevertheless, the previous issue about the cars not causing damage to the environment seems to be retained, according to the initial reviews about the game.
