'Gran Turismo Sport' News: Title Gets November Release; New Driver Sportsmanship Rating Leaked
Along with a new driver sportsmanship rating, Polyphony Digital has revealed the release date for "Grand Turismo Sport."
Polyphony Digital's title is set to be released on Nov. 15 in North America and Nov. 16 in Europe, Christian Times has learned. No details has been revealed about the exact release date of the game in other territories.
As per the publication, "Gran Tourismo Sport" is set to be accessible on the PlayStation 4 and it implies that the title is set to feature a tremendous improvement when it comes to visuals and the game's physics. It is further revealed that the game is also set to include a sum of 140 cars, which is believed to be less than the number of cars in the game's predecessors. The publication added that the said decrease in the car population will not be an issue, since the game is set for an interim release.
In his interview with GT Planet at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 event, "Gran Turismo" creator Kazunori Yamauchi joked that if one went online in "Gran Turismo 6," the world out these was very rough like the African savanna. He mentioned that that scenario was overtly not very good and one needed some type of rating system in order to achieve clean online races.
As per Yamauchi, the driver rating system for "Gran Turismo" would depend on two factors, which are Driver Class and Championship Points. The former represents the player's total speed and performance in races while the latter monitors the player's attitude and action on-track.
According to the game creator, these indices influence the overall driver rating. He explained that if the Sportsmanship Points went down because one had been driving very rough in some races, he would only be matched with other players who drove rough on-track. On the other hand, those who ran clean races would be matched with other clean drivers.
Developed by Polyphony Digital, "Gran Turismo Sport" is set to be released on Nov. 15.
