Grammy Awards 2015 Winners List: Singer Sam Smith Wins Four Grammys

It was a big day for the 22-year-old British singer Sam Smith, who won for prizes at the 2015 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Close to Smith, Pharrell Williams, Beyonce, and Rosanne Cash, the legendary Johnny Cash's daughter, won three awards each.

Receiving one of the four awards, Smith said, "Before I made this record I was doing everything to try and get my music heard," adding, "I tried to lose weight and I was making awful music. It was only until I started to be myself that the music started to flow and people started to listen."

Smith won the Grammy Award in the 'Record of the Year,' 'Song of the Year,' 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Pop Vocal Album' categories.
